ABWHE's motto is "Lift as we climb," and you can help us do just that by supporting our scholarship efforts. A gift of $45, $450, $4,500, or more will help the students we serve realize their academic goals.
ABWHE is currently revamping our national website to enhance its value for those who visit the site to learn more about--and join--our organization, connect with other members, and make use of our resources. Your generous gift of $4,500 will pay for our website upgrade and help ABWHE extend its reach in the digital space.
In honor of ABWHE's 45th anniversary, please consider sponsoring the conference--in part or in total--in increments of 450.00!
*Your gift of $45,000 will cover all conference costs.

"45 Years of Reflection:
Unlimited Lessons for the Future"
Black women in the higher education community need a variety of resources and networks to foster their professional development and advocated for their presence and prosperity in the academy. To help meet that need, in 1978, thirteen visionary women meeting in Albany, New York founded the Association of Black Women in Higher Education, Inc.(ABWHE).
Today, ABWHE has seven chapters nationwide. Since its inception, ABWHE has served as a forum for developing strategies to improve the quality of education of Black people, with particular emphasis on encouraging Black youth to take full advantage of available educational opportunities. ABWHE is committed to aiding Black women in the academy in fulfilling their own aspirations as well as encouraging Black youth to pursue their education.
